The research direction "Statehood and Institutional Development" is dedicated to the study of state and public institutions as fundamental mechanisms for the organization, coordination, and long-term development of civilizations.
Within the civilizational dimension, statehood is analyzed as an organic component of a broader institutional architecture—encompassing political, legal, social, and cultural institutions—that secures sovereignty, public connectivity, and civilizational resilience.
Special focus is dedicated to the transformation of statehood under the conditions of the emergent era, the institutional adaptation of societies to novel global challenges, and the investigation of strategic governance models in a long-term civilizational perspective.
