TRANSITION MATRIX
I. General Status
This document fixes the Transition Matrix of Project "Ashkhar's" Canon as a system for maintaining the continuity of distinctions between levels, contours, and operational modes of the project.
The document is not:
a scheme of project development,
a process model,
a transition algorithm,
a methodology for translating levels,
a development management system.
Its function consists in fixing the conditions under which a transition between levels does not destroy distinction and does not lead to the reduction of the Canon.
The Transition Matrix works not with the content of documents, but with the change in the mode of existence of a distinction during transitions between levels.
II. Principle of Transition
A transition is understood neither as a stage of development or expansion of content, nor as a sequence of operations or movement toward a completed system.
A transition represents a change in the mode of maintaining a distinction without turning it:
into an object,
into a structure,
into a model,
into a tool,
into management.
As a consequence, a transition does not eliminate the previous level, does not include it as a sublevel, does not finalize the distinction, and does not form a linear hierarchy.
Thus, the Canon exists as a system of maintained transitions.
III. Basic Architecture of Transitions
| Transition | What happens to the distinction | Main risk |
|---|---|---|
| L0 → L1 | distinction permits manifestation | transformation of the limit into an object of analysis |
| L1 → segmentation | distinction becomes an operation | transformation of distinction into classification |
| segmentation → map | distinction receives form | transformation of form into structure |
| map → mapping | distinction is maintained as correlation | transformation of correlation into a model |
| L1 → L2 | distinction becomes a way of correlation | transformation of connectivity into a system |
| L2 → application | distinction enters action | transformation of analytics into a tool |
| 22 → 23 | distinction changes its mode of existence | transition to normative action |
| L3 → operational deployment | distinction requires manifestation in action | transformation of action into management |
| levels → meta-level | distinction is maintained as the integrity of transitions | transformation of the Canon into a coordination system |
IV. Types of Transitions
| Type of transition | What happens | Main risk |
|---|---|---|
| transition of manifestation | the limit permits analytical fixation | objectification of distinction |
| transition of fixation | distinction receives a temporarily maintained form | stabilization as a structure |
| transition of correlation | distinction becomes connectivity | transformation of connectivity into a system |
| transition of action | distinction is maintained in the mode of the possibility of action | reduction to strategy or management |
| transition of deployment | distinction exits into application | destruction of distinctions in practice |
For the purposes of architectural simplification, individual intermediate transitions in this table may be fixed in a collapsed form without detailed display of all intermediate levels of the Canon.
V. Principle of Continuity
The continuity of transitions does not mean linearity, accumulation of content, sequential complexification, or movement through stages. Continuity is understood as the preservation of a distinction while changing the mode of its existence.
A transition does not eliminate the distinction, does not fix the final form, does not create a center of the system, and maintains the possibility of further project deployment.
VI. Rupture of Transitions
A transition rupture arises when:
a distinction is fixed as a completed structure,
a transition turns into a procedure,
levels are arranged into a hierarchy,
action becomes management,
an explanatory document begins to substitute for a canonical document,
the meta-level begins to function as a coordination center.
In this case, the Canon begins to operate as a completed model.
VII. Purpose of the Document
The document is intended to fix the Transition Matrix as an element of the meta-architectural defense of Project "Ashkhar's" Canon.
It allows to:
maintain the continuity of distinctions,
prevent the rupture of levels,
preserve the irreducibility of operational modes,
ensure transitions without loss of the architectural level,
support the further deployment of the Canon.
The Transition Matrix maintains not the movement of the project, but the continuity of distinctions between levels.
