PROJECT CONCEPT: "DIGITIZATION OF THE CONTEMPORARY ARMENIAN SPACE"

The Armenian civilization represents a global network of states, communities, organizations, institutions, businesses, and millions of individuals bound by a shared history, culture, and civilizational identity. Despite the vast scale of this network, it currently lacks a unified digital model capable of visualizing it as a holistic system.

The project "Digitization of the Contemporary Armenian Space" is directed toward engineering the first comprehensive digital map of the Armenian world, reflecting its structural architecture, systemic interconnections, resource allocations, and strategic potential.

Project Objective

The creation of a unified digital database of the Armenian world through the systematic collection, categorization, and analysis of data encompassing all primary elements of the contemporary Armenian civilization.

Primary Research Areas

Within the scope of this project, the digitization of the following elements of the Armenian space is envisioned:

• The Republic of Armenia: State institutions, local self-governance bodies, educational and scientific organizations, civil society groups, alongside cultural and commercial enterprises.
• The Armenian Diaspora: Formal community organizations, educational, youth, cultural, and charitable institutions worldwide.
• Independent Armenian Communities: Clubs, unions, associations, as well as professional and civic groups.
• The Economic Network of the Armenian World: Corporations, investment entities, entrepreneurial associations, and financial institutions associated with Armenian capital.
• Religious Organizations: Structures of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Armenian Catholic Church, Armenian Protestant communities, and other religious organizations operating across the Armenian world.

Implementation Principles

Each entity will be represented via a standardized digital profile containing:

• Baseline information;
• Primary operational vectors;
• Executive leadership;
• Contact parameters;
• Official digital resource references;
• Data regarding strategic partners and structural links to other entities.

All data points will be integrated into a single digital system, enabling the structural analysis of the Armenian world and the interconnections linking its elements.

Expected Yields

The execution of the project will systematically allow for:

• The creation of the first comprehensive digital map of the Armenian world;
• The determination of the actual scale of the Armenian civilizational network;
• The rigorous evaluation of its human, intellectual, economic, and cultural potential;
• The identification of key hubs of interaction and strategic vectors for collaboration;

Strategic Value

This project will serve as a foundational pillar of activity for the "Ashkhar" Scientific Research Center. The resulting digital model will, for the first time, present the Armenian world as a unified civilizational system, defining its boundaries, structural composition, resource allocation, and operational capabilities, while establishing a modern information-analytical platform for future scientific research and practical initiatives.
