MAPPING THE SPACE OF DERIVATIVE FORMS

    Architectural Project Version: v1.0

    Document Revision: 1.1

    Status: Final Revision

    I. Document Status

The document belongs to the transition contour between the analytical retention of the space of derivative forms and the subsequent transition to working with configurations.

Mapping is not a reflection of space, a model, a classification, or a description of existing derivative forms.

Its function consists in holding space through ratios of distinctions, admitting fixation without converting these distinctions into stable objects, elements, or structures.

    II. Subject of the Document

The subject of mapping is not the composition of the space of derivative forms, but the modes of correlating distinctions in which the space becomes accessible for further analytical retention.

Mapping codifies not what exists in space, but the ratios of distinctions in which it can be held.

Thus, mapping translates the work with discrete traces of distinction into holding their spatial ratio, without converting this ratio into a structure.

    III. Field of Mapping

Mapping is executed within a field that emerges during the process of fixing distinctions.

The field of mapping does not coincide with the space of derivative forms and is not its reflection. It exists as a medium for holding ratios of distinctions and is preserved strictly so long as these distinctions acquire no status as stable objects or elements.

The field is not set in advance and possesses no finalized structure.

    IV. Principle of Mapping

Mapping is not a procedure or algorithm.

It represents a mode of working with space wherein the distinction between the possibility of derivative forms and their concrete historical or civilizational embodiment is preserved.

Mapping prescribes no inventory of forms, establishes no hierarchy, and constructs no finalized representation of space.

    V. Limit of Mapping

Mapping preserves its own status so long as ratios of distinctions do not convert into stable links, structures, or configurations.

It executes no configurational analysis, but constructs the conditions for transitioning toward it, preserving distinctions in a form that permits subsequent work with their modes of correlation.

    VI. Document Purpose

The document is intended to hold the space of derivative forms via ratios of distinctions without converting the space into a model or an aggregate of objects.

Mapping concludes the spatial regime of the analytical retention of Level L1 and constructs the condition for transitioning to the configurational regime of Level L2, without executing this transition within the document itself.

    Formula of the Document

Mapping holds space through ratios of distinctions, without converting them into a structure, model, or finalized representation.

    Publishing Tagline

Mapping shows not the composition of space, but the ratios of distinctions in which it can be held.
