THE MISSION OF THE "ASHKHAR" PROJECT

    THE MISSION OF THE "ASHKHAR" PROJECT

    Architectural Project Version: v1.0

    Document Revision: 1.1

    Status: Final RevisionI. Document Status

    This document belongs to the ontological tier of the "Ashkhar" project and codifies the mission of the project as the directional orientation of its civilizational existence.

    The mission is not a goal, an action program, a developmental strategy, or an image of a desired future. It holds the project's directional orientation without dictating specific forms for its deployment.

    II. Mission of the Project

    The mission of the "Ashkhar" project consists in sustaining and developing the conditions under which Armenian civilization preserves the capacity to hold integrity and identity, explore the future, and act under uncertainty while remaining open to interaction with other civilizations.

    The project does not eliminate tensions between stability and change, identity and openness, semantic pole and distributedness, reflection and action; rather, it holds them as prerequisites for civilizational vitality and strategic agency.

    III. Logic of the Mission

    The mission integrates three irreducible logics:

    Preservation of integrity, continuity, and identity;

    Departure, wandering, and return as the capacity to explore the future and navigate uncertainty;

    Interaction with other civilizations within the global ecosystem of civilizations.

    None of these logics holds dominance. Their horizontal alignment maintains the openness of civilizational existence without eroding its semantic pole.

    IV. Strategic Agency (Deyesposobnost)

    The central dimension of the mission is civilizational strategic agency—the capacity to comprehend ongoing reality, navigate uncertainty, formulate responses, and act while bearing responsibility for its own trajectory.

    Strategic agency is maintained not through the immutability of forms, but through the capacity to preserve integrity amidst their transformation.

    V. Document Boundary

    This document formulates the mission of the project, but does not specify operational goals, tasks, strategies, institutional structures, or execution mechanisms.

    The mission sets the directional orientation for further deployment without converting that orientation into an action plan.
